Huron Partners LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants was founded by three entrepreneurial-minded individuals dedicated to providing a holistic professional experience to their clients. At Huron Partners LLP, we are more than just an accounting firm — we are “Your Partners in an Evolving World.

    Charn Hansra, CPA, CA, is one of the founding partners of Huron Partners LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants. He studied at Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration. He began his professional career at Deloitte in the Assurance and Advisory group. At Deloitte, he gained in-depth knowledge of auditing, technical accounting, business plans, cash flow projections and public company filing requirements. Charn also worked at a small public accounting firm located in uptown Toronto. There, he helped small- to medium-sized businesses meet their tax and accounting needs through effective tax planning for the owner-managers, preparing business valuations, budgeting and forecasting. Charn focuses his attention on ensuring that he supports his clients throughout the business cycle. Charn's core principle is based on delivering value to clients by improving operating results, maximizing after-tax dollars and planning for future financial needs. Charn is committed to excellence and has demonstrated this through his unwillingness to settle for second best.

    An entrepreneur at heart, Charn has owned and operated several successful small businesses and has helped clients facing significant challenges by driving value in the small- to medium-sized business market.

    Charn lives in Brampton, Ontario and enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He has an interest in classic cars, real estate investing and travelling.

  • Sunny Sanghera, CPA, CA, Licensed Public Accountant

    Sunny Sanghera, one of the founding partners of Huron Partners LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, joined Deloitte in the Assurance and Advisory group upon completion of his Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. During his tenure at Deloitte, Sunny attained his Chartered Accountant designation while serving private and public clients in the real estate, resources and energy sectors. He left Deloitte to pursue a Senior Financial Analyst role with Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in their fresh meat business unit. There, he was responsible for divisional reporting. Sunny then returned to public practice, joining a small Toronto accounting firm, where he was responsible for providing professional services, like assurance, tax planning and compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financing and management consulting. With this experience behind him, he is equipped to assist individuals and business owners when it comes to managing and improving financial, operational and strategic objectives. Most importantly, these experiences have taught him how financial and non-financial decisions impact various stakeholders. As a result, Sunny delivers highly informative and valuable analyses to meet the needs of all vested parties.

    Sunny continues to be a valued contributor to the Junior Achievement of Central Ontario company program. As a company advisor, he mentors high school students through the process of launching and operating a business.

    In his spare time, Sunny enjoys spending time with his wife and family, playing golf, religiously following football, doing home renovation projects and investing in capital markets and real estate.

  • Razik Sarsam, CPA, CA

    Razik Sarsam, is a tax partner and one of the founding partners of Huron Partners LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants. Razik is an alumnus of Brock University, where he attained both his Honours Bachelor of Accounting and Masters of Accountancy. During his undergraduate studies, he gained experience working at small public accounting firms serving small businesses, organizations and individuals with accounting, tax and other business needs. Upon successful completion of his Masters, Razik went on to join Grant Thornton in their Domestic and International Tax group. There, he completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) In-Depth Tax Course. Razik then joined MNP LLP in their Tax group prior to establishing Huron Partners LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants. Razik has experience serving private and public clients with domestic and international tax needs. He specializes in  tax planning and minimization, structuring, corporate reorganizations, family succession, estate planning and merger, acquisition and divesture transactions. With respect to international tax, Razik has also helped companies expand their business operations into Canada, acquiring entities, incorporating subsidiaries and handling cross-border tax matters.

    Razik enjoys interacting with and getting to know his clients. He takes great interest in learning about their legacies and dynasties. He pays close attention to his clients, which gives him the ability to customize the right set of strategies for their needs. He then provides proactive tax plans that benefit them long term.

    Razik enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and family. He also volunteers at his church, where he serves as a trustee on its Board. Other hobbies include managing portfolios, investing in real estate, playing his accordion and golfing — at least attempting to.
